The Beginning of Sans-Souci

Sans-Souci

Why Sans Souci?

I would like to share with you why I picked Sans Souci as the name for my business and my blog. It is of course French and also reflects exactly the service that I want to offer. The translation is “carefree.” For my branding and logo, I also had a firm idea of what I was looking for. I wanted a logo that was simple, but with the flavor of Saint Exupery’s little prince . . . a girl holding a kite off to a new destination.

What it is my goal?

Creating a blog is a way to give back to the community and to have a conversation that will provide me with feedback. I would like to create a website where people can help each other or give tips about where they can find what they are looking for, a place for useful information concerning relocation . . . relocation from abroad to the U.S. and relocation within the U.S. to Central Florida. Whether you relocate on your own or because of new employment, you have a lot of things to think about. The change can even be more profound when coming from another country. It can be like being reborn. I will post links and tips for things that you might ask of your HR department and things that you should consider, what your company might offer as assistance, what a relocation package allowance should ideally include, and so much more. Asking the right questions is important.

My blog will be themed: Sans Souci or idea of the week, volunteering and being involved in your community, giving back, relocation as an individual or family or single parent, relocation from within the U.S., international relocation, pets, children, traveling and the many things to do in Florida. I will also use Pinterest to give you tips or ideas.

Maybe someone has an idea to help another person. I will create a directory of people as references. I want you to be able to find solutions for any problem that might arise. You will not be alone.

Relocation requires that you build a new foundation for your life. I will be there to help you, giving you tips and, if needed, some personal assistance. I can be at your service. I know what I am talking about. I have been there and done it many times.

I will also authorize comment on my blog with control.

Thanks for reading my blog. I look forward to hearing from you and working with you.
